May 17, 1999 — Bank of America Corporation

The Bank of America Corporation will pay $187.5 Million to settle charges that it illegally kept unclaimed bond proceeds from the State of California and more than 1,000 Cities, Counties and public agencies statewide.

The charges were asserted by former bank vice president Patrick Stull.

As part of the settlement, Mr. Stull will receive $22 Million as a reward for having filed the claims.
